Tomato "Cornue des Andes" from France.
The pepper-shaped fruits are meaty with few seeds and rich flavour. It is supposed to be one of the best tasting tomatoes of all. The fruits are 15 cm long. From transplant: 75 days. This variety is originally from France.

Winter Squash "Musquée de Provence" from France.
The vigorous vines can attain six meters. The fruits are flattened like a cheese but each rib makes a deep convolution. The orange flesh is very flavoured, sweet , thick, and firm. The green skin turns to ochre at full maturity or after some time in storage. The 8-9 kg fruits keep for a very long time. Each plant may bear from 2 to 5 of them. From direct sowing: 110 days. This heirloom variety is originally from the southern part of France.

Lettuce "Radichetta" from Italy.
This unique variety has somewhat a delicate flavor of corn salad. The leaves are green and oak shaped. The variety is very hardy and re-seeds very easily during the autumn. This old variety is originally from Italy. It has been named in France recently “Cressonnette du Maroc”.

Melon "Petit Gris de Rennes" from France. This early variety is very well adapted to cool climates. It bears small fruits which average 1-1,5 kg. The orange flesh is dense, sweet and highly scented. During the last Seed Savers Conference in Decorah, we met a melon grower who was very enthusiastic about this variety and who told us it was one of the best! Indeed, Petit Gris de Rennes never fails and its scent is exquisite.
This heirloom variety is originally from France.

Summer Squash "Ronde de Nice" from France. The bush-type plants produce an abundance of smooth, globe-shaped, medium-green fruits of gourmet quality. These fast growing fruits are ready to eat about 7 days after flowering, when they have the size of golf-balls. Upon maturity, they can reach 10-12 cm in diameter and can then be stuffed. They are still excellent when fully mature.
This old heirloom is originally from the south of France.
